At MMC, we love Electric Pedal Assist bikes, or more commonly, E-Bikes. In fact, several of our own staff ride E-Bikes for the fun they deliver in keeping up with faster friends and family, riding longer and farther, having a little extra boost up our hills, going to the grocery store or any number or other reasons to get out and have fun on our bikes.
The Adero Canyon Trailhead is now open in Fountain Hills, located at the far north end of the Toll Brothers neighborhood of Adero Canyon. The trailhead is accessible via Eagle Ridge Drive off Palisades in Fountain Hills.
The MMC Ride Club is a group of folks that love to ride bicycles and love to be part of a group that share in that love of cycling in Fountain Hills.
I have six sisters, two daughters and four granddaughters AND my best friend for the last 45 years is a woman. You could say, I am pretty accustomed to being around women, strong women, amazing women. I want to highlight two strong and amazing women who I am proud to call friends and bring attention to this awesome project they are creating.
When we started McDowell Mountain Cycles, we decided to do a lot of things differently than a lot of bike shops. We recycle over three times as much as we throw away and we decided to allocate space to create a hangout for riders.

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to ride in an event that I’ve wanted to do for some time. It’s called the Skull Valley Challenge and it made for a great excuse to get in some training and ride a great route with some friends.
