The All Women’s Spring Ride turned to the trails this time for a fun day of mountain biking out at McDowell Mountain Park and Brown’s Ranch.

We knew our Summer Ride would be our tough one, so when we got such a great turnout of awesome riders, new and experienced, we were pumped.

I had not been riding much and “training” even less. I needed a goal, but none of the races I had done in the past were getting me on the bike in earnest. I needed something new, something crazy, something stupid and that’s when it hit me!

The Cape Epic is one of those legendary mountain bike races. MMC owner Harry Johnson and his daughter Heidi recently completed the 8 day stage race, here are some of their stories and photos.

The All Women’s Ride Series kicked off with it’s Fall Ride last month. The ladies had a great day filled with lots of laughs, stories, and good fun! Our next All Women’s ride will be our Winter Century, so stay tuned for details!

On November 21, hundreds of mountain bikers convened at McDowell Mountain Park, just outside our awesome town of Fountain Hills, to race the 12 Hours of Fury. We had several MMC teams in the race and all rode very well and had a blast! Here’s a little photo recap of the day, along with some quotes from our MMC Ride Crew.
