This month, we decided to switch from mountain and gravel racing to a road racing event. The Haute Route is a seven day stage race over some of the most spectacular roads and climbs in Colorado. The race, which in 2018, started in Boulder and then made its way to Winter Park, Avon, Breckinridge and then climbed to the summit of Pikes Peak, before finishing the final day in Colorado Springs. Over the seven days, racers covered over 500 miles and climbed almost 50,000 feet, including the epic and iconic climb of Pikes Peak.
Our jersey at MMC was awarded to our very own MMC Ride Crew member, John Clark for an outstanding accomplishment at the Haute Route, Rockies. John was an overall contender every stage and won the overall master’s division. We are proud to have John’s leader and winner jersey hanging in the shop.
